ABOUT JULIA
Julia is a seasoned storyteller and director who has seamlessly made the transition from her acting career in front of the camera, (Lipstick Jungle, Law & Order, SVU, Nashville, Fear the Walking Dead) to her
directing career behind it.
Since 2006, Julia has been a prolific writer and director, consistently earning accolades for her narrative depth. Her debut play, Modern Missionary, was awarded "Best Play" at the New York City Fringe Festival. Her short film as writer/director, Chasing Grace premiered at SXSW.

In 2023 she wrote and directed two features: A Christmas in New Hope, starring Katrina Bowden, Adrianne Palicki, and Malcolm Goodwin, and Texas Cult House, starring Adrianne Palicki, which premiered at the Austin Film Festival in 2024.
She lived in East Africa as a volunteer with the African Children’s Choir and did relief and development with the Lost Boys of the Southern Sudan and Rwanda immediately following the 1994 truce.

Much of her storytelling stems from over two decades of work supporting marginalized communities.

FILMS
Julia has written and directed two high-performing feature films.
Her family-friendly romantic comedy, "A Christmas in New Hope" received 6.4M views in its first month on Tubi, while her thriller, "Texas Cult House", starring Adrianne Palicki
premiered on the opening night of the Austin Film Festival.
These films showcased her versatility and that she is not bound to a single genre. Both feature films have consistently ranked among the "Most Popular" in their respective genres on Tubi and are available across Amazon and Apple TV.
